Diese Website liegt bei Cloudflare Workers der Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Beim Aufruf verarbeitet Cloudflare die technisch nötigen Verbindungsdaten: IP-Adresse, Zeitpunkt, aufgerufene Adresse, Browserkennung und die verweisende Seite. Cloudflare braucht sie, um die Seiten auszuliefern und Angriffe abzuwehren.

Rechtsgrundlage ist unser berechtigtes Interesse an einer sicheren, erreichbaren Website, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Cloudflare handelt als Auftragsverarbeiter nach Art. 28 DSGVO auf Grundlage des Data Processing Addendum von Cloudflare. Für Übermittlungen in die USA stützt sich Cloudflare auf das EU-US Data Privacy Framework und die Standardvertragsklauseln der EU-Kommission. Datenschutzerklärung für Enhanced DM

Ironstead hat keinen Datenschutzbeauftragten bestellt, weil keine gesetzliche Pflicht dazu besteht.

2. Grundsatz: Enhanced DM arbeitet auf deinem Computer

Enhanced DM ist eine Windows-Anwendung. Kampagnendaten, Chatverläufe, Notizen, Berichte, Aufnahmen, Entwürfe, Einstellungen und Zugangsdaten speichert Enhanced DM ausschließlich auf deinem Computer, unter %APPDATA%\Enhanced DM. Ironstead erhält diese Daten nicht und kann nicht auf sie zugreifen. Du kannst sie jederzeit selbst löschen. Eine Deinstallation lässt sie bestehen, damit eine Neuinstallation sie weiter nutzen kann.

Ironstead verarbeitet personenbezogene Daten nur in den Fällen der Abschnitte 3, 4 und 4a.

3. Lizenzprüfung mit Lizenzschlüssel

Einen Lizenzschlüssel prüft Enhanced DM offline auf deinem Computer anhand einer digitalen Signatur. Für die Aktivierung sendet Enhanced DM nichts an Ironstead; zu Download und Updates siehe Abschnitt 4a. Der Schlüssel kann die E-Mail-Adresse enthalten, mit der du gekauft hast. Er bleibt auf deinem Computer.

Wenn du die Lizenzbedingungen bei der Aktivierung akzeptierst, speichert Enhanced DM die Version der Bedingungen und den Zeitpunkt der Zustimmung lokal zusammen mit deiner Lizenz.

4. Lizenzprüfung mit Patreon

Wenn du dich mit Patreon anmeldest, läuft folgender Ablauf:

1. Dein Browser öffnet den Lizenzserver von Ironstead unter license.enhanceddm.com. Er leitet dich zu Patreon weiter.
2. Du meldest dich bei Patreon an und erlaubst Enhanced DM den Zugriff mit den Berechtigungen identity, identity[email] und identity.memberships.
3. Der Lizenzserver fragt bei Patreon deine Patreon-Nutzer-ID, deine E-Mail-Adresse, deinen Mitgliedsstatus und deine Stufe in der Enhanced-DM-Kampagne ab.
4. Er erstellt daraus eine signierte Berechtigung (Nutzer-ID, E-Mail-Adresse, Stufe, Gültigkeit von 35 Tagen) und gibt sie zusammen mit einem Patreon-Aktualisierungstoken an Enhanced DM auf deinem Computer zurück.
5. Enhanced DM speichert beides lokal. Solange du online bist, prüft Enhanced DM etwa zweimal täglich, ob die Berechtigung fällig ist, und erneuert sie dann über den Lizenzserver.

Zweck und Rechtsgrundlage: Prüfung, ob du Enhanced DM nutzen darfst. Das ist zur Erfüllung des Nutzungsvertrags nötig, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

Speicherdauer: Der Lizenzserver speichert keine Nutzerdaten dauerhaft. Er verarbeitet sie nur während der jeweiligen Anfrage. Der Hostinganbieter kann technische Zugriffsprotokolle (IP-Adresse, Zeitpunkt, aufgerufene Adresse) für kurze Zeit vorhalten, siehe Abschnitt 5. Auf deinem Computer bleiben Berechtigung und Aktualisierungstoken gespeichert, bis du unter Einstellungen → Lizenz auf Lizenz entfernen klickst.

Patreon: Patreon, Inc. ist für die Daten deines Patreon-Kontos selbst verantwortlich. Es gilt die Datenschutzerklärung von Patreon: https://privacy.patreon.com/. Den Zugriff von Enhanced DM kannst du in deinen Patreon-Einstellungen jederzeit widerrufen.

4a. Download und App-Updates

Den Installer und App-Updates liefert Ironstead nur an Lizenzinhaber aus.

• Download über die Website: Auf license.enhanceddm.com/download fügst du deinen Lizenzschlüssel ein oder meldest dich mit Patreon an. Der Lizenzserver prüft die Signatur des Schlüssels beziehungsweise deine Mitgliedschaft wie in Abschnitt 4 und startet dann den Download. Schlüssel und Patreon-Daten verarbeitet er nur während dieser Anfrage.
• App-Updates: Wenn Enhanced DM nach Updates sucht oder ein Update lädt, sendet es deine gespeicherte Lizenz an updates.enhanceddm.com. Die Lizenz enthält deine Kunden- oder Patreon-Nutzer-ID, deine Stufe, ihre Gültigkeit und gegebenenfalls deine E-Mail-Adresse. Der Server prüft nur Signatur und Gültigkeit und speichert die Lizenz nicht.

Zweck und Rechtsgrundlage: Auslieferung der Software und ihrer Updates nur an Berechtigte, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

Speicherdauer: Der Lizenzserver speichert keine dieser Daten dauerhaft. Der Hostinganbieter kann technische Zugriffsprotokolle für kurze Zeit vorhalten, siehe Abschnitt 5.

5. Hosting des Lizenzservers (Auftragsverarbeitung)

Der Lizenzserver läuft auf Cloudflare Workers der Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare verarbeitet die Anfragen als Auftragsverarbeiter nach Art. 28 DSGVO auf Grundlage des Data Processing Addendum von Cloudflare. Für Übermittlungen in die USA stützt sich Cloudflare auf das EU-US Data Privacy Framework und die Standardvertragsklauseln der EU-Kommission. 6. KI-Assistenten und Suno: deine eigenen Konten

Für den Chat und die Generatoren nutzt Enhanced DM einen KI-Assistenten, den du selbst auswählst und mit deinem eigenen Konto anmeldest: Codex (OpenAI), Claude Code (Anthropic) oder Antigravity (Google). Optional verbindest du dein eigenes Suno-Konto für Musik.

Enhanced DM sendet deine Eingaben und die dafür nötigen Kampagnendaten direkt von deinem Computer an den gewählten Anbieter. Ironstead ist an dieser Übermittlung nicht beteiligt, erhält die Daten nicht und ist dafür nicht Verantwortlicher. Verantwortlich ist der jeweilige Anbieter im Rahmen deines Vertrags mit ihm. Es gelten dessen Bedingungen und Datenschutzerklärung. Welche Daten du dorthin schickst, entscheidest du mit deinen Eingaben und deinen Quellen.

Chat-Titel: Nach der ersten Antwort in einem Chat, beim Start eines neuen Chats (falls der alte noch keinen Titel hat) und gegebenenfalls für ältere Chats mit Datumstitel lässt Enhanced DM einen kurzen Titel erzeugen. Dafür gehen bis zu 15 Nachrichten des Chats (bei längeren Chats die neuesten), jede auf 200 Zeichen gekürzt, an das günstigste Modell eines deiner eigenen, angemeldeten Anbieter. Mit der Voreinstellung Einstellungen → Chat-Titel → Nur den Anbieter des jeweiligen Chats ist das nur der Anbieter, mit dem du diesen Chat führst. Wählst du Günstigstes verfügbares Modell, kann es ein anderer deiner verbundenen Anbieter sein (Codex mit Luna, Claude Code mit Haiku oder Antigravity mit Gemini Flash), und ältere Chats mit Datumstitel werden einzeln im Hintergrund umbenannt, ohne dass du sie öffnest. Ist auf deinem Computer Ollama eingerichtet, kann stattdessen dieses lokale Modell den Titel erzeugen. Mit der Voreinstellung schaltest du die Übermittlung an andere Anbieter und die Umbenennung im Hintergrund ab.

7. Spielerlink über Cloudflare (optional)

Wenn du unter Einstellungen → Spielerlink einen Spielerlink erstellst, lädt Enhanced DM das Programm cloudflared von Cloudflare und baut einen Tunnel von deinem Foundry-Server zu einer öffentlichen Adresse bei Cloudflare auf. Der Datenverkehr deiner Spieler mit deinem Foundry läuft dann über Cloudflare. Du startest diese Funktion selbst und stimmst vorher den Bedingungen von Cloudflare zu. Ironstead erhält dabei keine Daten. Verantwortlich für den Betrieb deines Foundry-Servers und den Spielerlink bist du.

Die alternative HTTPS-Einrichtung über deinen Router fragt deine öffentliche IP-Adresse beim Dienst ipify ab und beantragt ein Zertifikat bei Let's Encrypt. Auch hier erhält Ironstead keine Daten.

8. Protokolle auf deinem Computer

Enhanced DM schreibt Diagnoseprotokolle nach %APPDATA%\Enhanced DM\logs. Sie bleiben auf deinem Computer. Enhanced DM rotiert sie ab 5 MB. Ironstead erhält sie nur, wenn du über Support-Paket erstellen selbst ein Paket erzeugst und es uns schickst. Das Paket enthält keine Passwörter, Schlüssel, Tokens oder Cookies. Wir nutzen es nur zur Bearbeitung deiner Anfrage (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO) und löschen es, sobald die Anfrage erledigt ist.

9. Kontakt per E-Mail

Wenn du uns schreibst, verarbeiten wir deine Nachricht und deine E-Mail-Adresse, um zu antworten (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b oder f DSGVO). Wir löschen die Korrespondenz, wenn sie erledigt ist und keine gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungspflichten bestehen.

10. Deine Rechte

Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft (Art. 15 DSGVO), Berichtigung (Art. 16), Löschung (Art. 17), Einschränkung der Verarbeitung (Art. 18), Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 20) und Widerspruch (Art. 21). Schreib dafür an contact@iron-stead.com.

Du kannst dich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde beschweren. Zuständig für Ironstead ist die Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.

When you open a page, Cloudflare processes the connection data it technically needs: IP address, time, requested address, browser identifier and referring page. Cloudflare uses it to deliver the pages and fend off attacks.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, reachable website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare acts as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR based on Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum. For transfers to the USA, Cloudflare relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Privacy policy for Enhanced DM

2. Enhanced DM runs on your computer

Enhanced DM is a Windows application. It stores campaign data, chat history, notes, reports, recordings, drafts, settings and credentials only on your computer, under %APPDATA%\Enhanced DM. Ironstead does not receive this data and cannot access it. You can delete it at any time. Uninstalling keeps it so a new installation can use it again.

Ironstead processes personal data only in the cases described in sections 3, 4 and 4a.

3. License check with a license key

Enhanced DM checks a license key offline on your computer using a digital signature and sends nothing to Ironstead for the activation; for downloads and updates see section 4a. The key may contain the email address you bought with. It stays on your computer.

When you accept the license terms during activation, Enhanced DM stores the version of the terms and the time of acceptance locally with your license.

4. License check with Patreon

When you sign in with Patreon:

1. Your browser opens Ironstead's license server at license.enhanceddm.com, which forwards you to Patreon.
2. You sign in to Patreon and allow Enhanced DM access with the scopes identity, identity[email] and identity.memberships.
3. The license server asks Patreon for your Patreon user ID, email address, membership status and tier in the Enhanced DM campaign.
4. It creates a signed entitlement (user ID, email address, tier, valid for 35 days) and returns it, together with a Patreon refresh token, to Enhanced DM on your computer.
5. Enhanced DM stores both locally. While you are online, it checks about twice a day whether the entitlement is due and then renews it through the license server.

Purpose and legal basis: checking that you may use Enhanced DM, which is necessary to perform the license agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Retention: the license server does not store user data permanently. It processes it only during each request. The hosting provider may keep technical access logs (IP address, time, requested address) for a short time, see section 5. The entitlement and refresh token stay on your computer until you click Remove license under Settings → License.

Patreon: Patreon, Inc. is responsible for your Patreon account data. Patreon's privacy policy applies: https://privacy.patreon.com/. You can revoke Enhanced DM's access in your Patreon settings at any time.

4a. Downloads and app updates

Ironstead delivers the installer and app updates only to license holders.

• Download from the website: on license.enhanceddm.com/download you paste your license key or sign in with Patreon. The license server checks the key's signature or your membership as in section 4 and then starts the download. It processes the key and the Patreon data only during that request.
• App updates: when Enhanced DM checks for or downloads an update, it sends your stored license to updates.enhanceddm.com. The license contains your customer or Patreon user ID, your tier, its validity and, where present, your email address. The server only checks the signature and validity and does not store the license.

Purpose and legal basis: delivering the software and its updates only to those entitled to it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Retention: the license server stores none of this data permanently. The hosting provider may keep technical access logs for a short time, see section 5.

5. Hosting of the license server (processor)

The license server runs on Cloudflare Workers, operated by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR based on Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum. For transfers to the USA, Cloudflare relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. 6. AI assistants and Suno: your own accounts

For chat and generators, Enhanced DM uses an AI assistant that you choose and sign in to with your own account: Codex (OpenAI), Claude Code (Anthropic) or Antigravity (Google). Optionally you connect your own Suno account for music.

Enhanced DM sends your input and the campaign data it needs directly from your computer to the provider you chose. Ironstead takes no part in this transfer, does not receive the data and is not the controller for it. The provider is responsible under your contract with them, and their terms and privacy policy apply. You decide what goes there through your input and your sources.

Chat titles: After the first reply in a chat, when you start a new chat (if the previous one has no title yet) and, if enabled, for older chats with a date title, Enhanced DM has a short title generated. For this, up to 15 messages of the chat (the newest ones in longer chats), each cut to 200 characters, go to the cheapest model of one of your own signed-in providers. With the default Settings → Chat titles → Only the chat's own provider, that is only the provider you use for that chat. If you choose Cheapest available model, it can be another of your connected providers (Codex with Luna, Claude Code with Haiku or Antigravity with Gemini Flash), and older chats with a date title are renamed one by one in the background without you opening them. If Ollama is set up on your computer, that local model may generate the title instead. The default turns off both the transfer to other providers and the background renaming.

7. Player link through Cloudflare (optional)

If you create a player link under Settings → Player link, Enhanced DM downloads Cloudflare's cloudflared program and opens a tunnel from your Foundry server to a public address at Cloudflare. Your players' traffic with your Foundry then passes through Cloudflare. You start this yourself and accept Cloudflare's terms first. Ironstead receives no data. You are responsible for running your Foundry server and the player link.

The alternative HTTPS setup through your router asks the ipify service for your public IP address and requests a certificate from Let's Encrypt. Ironstead receives no data here either.

8. Logs on your computer

Enhanced DM writes diagnostic logs to %APPDATA%\Enhanced DM\logs. They stay on your computer and rotate at 5 MB. Ironstead only receives them if you create a package with Create support package and send it to us. The package contains no passwords, keys, tokens or cookies. We use it only to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and delete it once the request is resolved.

9. Email contact

When you write to us, we process your message and email address to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete the correspondence once it is resolved and no legal retention duty applies.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Write to contact@iron-stead.com.
